About Immersion Cooling

An advanced thermal management approach where compute hardware is submerged in a non-conductive dielectric fluid instead of relying on traditional air cooling.

// Why Immersion

Liquid moves heat ~1,000× more efficiently than air.

Compute components are fully submerged in a non-conductive dielectric fluid. Heat transfers directly from silicon to fluid, then to a liquid-to-air heat exchanger, with no fans on the compute hardware and no phase change in the fluid. The result is higher compute density, better performance, quieter operation, and up to 40% lower power draw for demanding AI and HPC workloads.

UET brings data-center-level cooling technology to the true edge, where nobody else effectively has.

UET single-phase immersion cooling system with compute hardware submerged in dielectric fluid

The VectorEdge platform integrates the servers, tank, dielectric fluid, and heat exchangers into one self-contained unit. Cool fluid enters at the bottom of the tank and absorbs heat as it rises past the servers. The warmed fluid then exits through a liquid-to-air heat exchanger, which releases the heat and cycles the cooled fluid back into the tank.

// Hardware Reliability

Roughly 50% fewer component failures.

By fully submerging the PCB, immersion isolates it from air, with no airborne contaminants, humidity, or dust. Single-phase immersion servers see roughly a 50% reduction in average component failure rate versus air-cooled systems.

Backed by a 3-year warranty on server components.

// The Advantages

Built for the environment, not around it.

Reduced Noise

No on board server fans means no moving parts to fail on the server, quiet enough for a conference room, or clinical setting.

Higher Compute Density

Four H200 NVL-class GPUs in roughly 150 lbs, a footprint no air-cooled system this size can match.

Direct-contact heat transfer

Dielectric fluid carries heat away roughly 1,000× more efficiently than air.

Zero HVAC required

No HVAC, no clean room, no raised floor. The unit is the infrastructure and it cuts total power draw by up to 40%.

No Water Usage

VectorEdge cooling uses zero water, with no draw on local supply and no risk in water-scarce or freezing environments.

Non-Toxic

The dielectric fluid we use is 100% non-toxic to people and the environment. It is safe to handle and safe to deploy anywhere.
